Amputee-chan

“I have no future. Nobody wants me anymore.”

A child who was stripped of everything she held dear. A car accident she will never forget. She struggles with what's left of her life and is constantly reminded of the fateful day. Medical science has given her physical hope but what will give her the strength to move on...

A seven year old who was transferred to a nursing home as ward of the state after losing three limbs, an eye and her family from a catastrophic car accident. With her new reality she closes herself from anyone who tries to get close, yet her heart actually craves the lost affection she once had.

According to her file, her mother was an American Japanese and her father was a Scandinavian. Her father is an only child and his parents have already passed away. Her mother's family apparently do not approve of the marriage and have made no attempt at getting in contact with Amputee-chan post accident. Before the accident, Amputee-chan was apparently studying at a school for gifted children. She played instruments and was quite athletic as well.

Nurse-kun

“I really wish there was magic in the world. I would do anything for there to be magic that could make her, make everything, all right again.”

A young registered nurse, he sees life in it's worst everyday. As a professional he deals with it as it comes along, but that was before he saw her. Now with a yearning to help beyond the call of duty, he continues to provide support for a fragile life.

Not a lot is known about him since he keeps his anonymity for security and safety purposes. He does tell us that he's in his twenties and is a male registered nurse who works at a nursing home during the late shift.

Adopt her?”

The legion of internet users of an image board site, they are collectively known as "Anonymous". While they ramble in their own discussions, Nurse-kun one day decided to post a topic about Amputee-chan, this led Anonymous to respond with a mix array of emotive replies.

Something was different, for once, Anonymous was not the typical face it usually is, Anonymous shared Nurse-kun's desire to heal.

Anonymous is the collective consciousness of all the lurkers that post on an image board site's random board. The board is setup in such a way that no nickname is allowed when posting so every single post's is attributed to Anonymous. As such, the running joke is that Anonymous is actually a single person (who posts 50,000+ posts a day) and is the sole user of that board.
